Floris UMC Preschool offers a variety of classes designed to support your child’s growth at every stage. From our two-and-a-half-year-old program to Pre-K classes tailored for children ready for an extra year to mature, we provide flexible options to meet your family’s needs. Our Stay and Play extended day program add opportunities for rest, play, and exploration, giving children a well-rounded experience. Discover the right program for your child below!
2026-2027 Classes

Three (3) Monday – Friday Classes
Floris UMC Preschool offers three (3) Pre-K classes.
One of these classes is designated for families taking advantage of the “gift of time”. These families have determined that while their children meet the age requirement to enter kindergarten this fall, they are giving their children another year to mature. In addition, the children who turn 5 during the months of October, November and December are considered for this class. Age is only one of the determining factors for this class.
Floris UMC Preschool reserves the right to alter this schedule based on enrollment.
2026-2027 Preschool Fees
Registration Fee
A registration fee of $130.00 per child or $155.00 per family is required at time of submission. Members and staff of Floris UMC pay $120.00 per child or $145.00 per family. The registration fee is non-refundable. Parents of a child on the wait list may request removal from the wait list through email and a refund of the registration fee less a $15 processing fee. Once the child is offered a place in a class, the registration fee is non-refundable.
Monthly Tuition
Monthly tuition for the 2026-2027 school year at Floris UMC Preschool is listed below. Tuition is payable in nine equal payments. The first payment is made by Friday, May 1, 2026, and will be credited as the May 2027 payment. The remaining payments are to be made by the first of each month, September through April.
- 2-day programs $370 per month
- 3-day programs $475 per month
- 5-day programs $660 per month
We offer a 5% sibling discount applied to the lower tuition.
Supply Fee
In addition to the tuition, Floris UMC Preschool requests a one-time non-refundable supply fee for each child. The supply fee is related to the number of days per week that the child attends. This fee is also due on Friday, May 1, 2026.
2-day programs $110.00
3-day programs $120.00
5-day 3-year-old program $150.00
5-day Pre-K program $155.00 **
**PreK Supply Fees include weekly Science and Library classes.
2026-2027 Extended Day Options
Floris UMC Preschool is excited to offer multiple Extended Day options for the 2026-2027 school year. These sessions give families who need longer hours due to work or other obligations that ability. Our 3-, 4- and 5-year-olds are eligible to participate in this program.
In order for each Extended Day option to run, we need at least 5 children to participate in each option each day.
Registration for these programs is open until the options are full. We only have up to 16 children per day.
Early Birds
- This program meets from 8:30-9:00am.
- It meets Monday through Friday. You may choose one day of any combination of days.
- The children will play with toys, color and read books.
Stay & Play
- This option is from 1:00-3:00pm.
- The preschool offers this program Monday through Friday. You may choose one day or any combination of days.
- During these hours, the children rest, explore centers, have a snack, and play on the playground.
The Afternoon Hangout
- This after-care program meets from 3:00-4:00pm.
- We offer this program Monday through Friday. You may choose one day or any combination of days.
- The children will play on the playground, play with toys, and watch an educational program.
Registration Fees
- “Early Birds” – $25 registration fee
- “Stay & Play – $100 registration fee
- “The Afternoon Hangout” – $50 registration fee
- All registration fees are required to hold a space for your child. The fees will be credited towards the May 2027 fees.
2026-2027 Extended Day Monthly Fees
Monthly fees for extended day options are listed below. The fees are payable in nine equal payments. The monthly fees are due on the 4th of each month starting in September.
To determine your monthly fee for each program, add each selected day’s fee together. Example: Monday – Friday “Stay & Play” is $600 per month.

Stay & Play
- Monday $110 per month/$990 per year
- Tuesday $115 per month/$1035 per year
- Wednesday $135 per month/$1215 per year
- Thursday $125 per month/$1125 per year
- Friday $115 per month/$1035 per year
The Afternoon Hangout
- Monday $55 per month/$495 per year
- Tuesday $60 per month/$540 per year
- Wednesday $70 per month/$630 per year
- Thursday $65 per month/$585 per year
- Friday $60 per month/$540 per year
Withdrawal Policy
A 30-day written notice for withdrawal from the preschool is required. If withdrawal is after Friday, July 31, 2026, the May 2027 tuition and supply fee are forfeited and cannot be returned OR applied to the last month’s tuition.
