Four-Year-Old/Five-Year-Old (Pre-Kindergarten)

Floris UMC Preschool offers three Pre-K classes.

One of these classes is designated for families taking advantage of the gift of time. Some parents determined that, while their child meets the age requirement to enter kindergarten this fall, they are giving them another year to mature. In addition, we consider children who turn five during October, November, and December for this class. Age is only one of the determining factors for this class.

Monday – Friday

Stay and Play

Floris UMC Preschool is offering “Stay and Play”, an extended day option, for the 2025-2026 school year. These sessions give families who need longer hours due to work or other obligations that ability. Our 3-, 4- and 5-year-olds are eligible to participate in this program. This option meets from 1-3pm.

During these hours, the children rest, explore centers, have a snack and play on the playground.

The preschool offers this program Monday – Friday. You may choose one day or any combination of days.

Monthly Fees Still to be Determined for 2025-2026.

A registration fee of $100 is required to hold a space for your child. This fee will be credited toward the May 2026 “Stay and Play” fee.

Registration for this program is open until the options are full. We will only take 14 children per day.
